Thank you to Mick for organising the stage, we’ve had lots of feedback about what a lovely atmosphere there was at the fayre. Thanks to the Ye Olde Cross community for contributing to that atmosphere.

Thank you to our ward councillors for sponsoring the fayre and for being a sounding board during the planning process. It’s not easy planning something like this and their support has been a big help. Their financial support has meant that the money we raised on the day can be put towards the Christmas lights.

And of course thank you to everyone who came and made the day such a lovely one 😊

This years writing competition has some fantastic entries. We’ve certainly got a lot to think about 😄 it was incredibly difficult to pick winners, the kids had put a lot of thought into their entries and produced some lovely work. You can see the winning entries displayed in the notice board outside of Ryton Methodist Church (the one on the main road).
