What an absolutely incredible feeling to finally hold this cheque after taking on the Wing Walk for Bluebell Wood. 🥹

Between myself and Dec, we have raised £6,776.37 and I honestly don’t have the words to explain how overwhelmed and grateful we are.

This incredible amount will fund 24-hour specialist nursing care for seven days, ensuring a child can be cared for with compassion, dignity and expert support around the clock.

Because of every single donation, share, kind word and bit of encouragement, families facing the unimaginable will never have to face it alone. 💜

You have helped provide comfort, expert care and precious moments that matter most.

This is more than a fundraising total. It’s a legacy of love. And knowing that what we did will make such a profound difference to children and their families when they need it most makes every second of that Wing Walk worth it. ✈️💜

Five days to go… ✈️😳💜

What better way to prepare for a WINGWALK than pretending I’m already flying?! 😂

Weekend adventures with the drone, Bennerley Viaduct, goggles on and feeling like I was actually looping the loop… all while trying to convince myself this is a VERY sensible thing to do! 🤣

Then off to Caludon Castle before reality hits… 5 DAYS until Dec and I take to the skies for Bluebell Wood! 💜

We are absolutely blown away by everyone who has donated so far, together we’re now around £4,000 raised! 🙌🏼💜

10 DAYS TO GO… ✈️😳💜

The countdown is officially ON! I’ve collected our T-shirts, the fundraising bucket is now at The Courtyard until Friday 21st August, and I’ve been blown away by every single person who has donated so far to both myself and Dec🥹❤️

But we’re not done yet… £5000 is the goal, ambitious I know but I’d like to beat last year and every £1 gets us closer! 🙏

It’s been a while since I’ve posted on this page.

So many of you followed my journey through the Longbar years, and recently I’ve had lots of messages and people stopping me to ask how I am and what’s next.

The truth is, life looks very different these days.

If you’ve seen my personal social media, you’ll probably think I’m having an amazing time and in many ways I am. I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to Las Vegas for work, make incredible memories, meet wonderful people and embrace opportunities I never expected.

But what social media doesn’t always show is that grief and happiness can exist side by side.

The last year has brought challenges I never imagined I’d face. Losing the Longbar was heartbreaking, and my marriage ended in circumstances I never expected. Whilst there are still ongoing matters I can’t discuss publicly, it’s been 4 months of rebuilding, healing and finding my feet again.

One thing I am incredibly grateful for is the support I’ve received. My best friends Julie and Martin have been there every step of the way. Before I took on the Longbar, I was actually due to work with them and somehow life has brought us back full circle. Through Redtooth Poker and their restaurant businesses they’ve given me opportunities, purpose, friendship and support when I needed it most.

And then there’s all of you. The messages, the support, the kindness and the encouragement. I will never take that for granted.

I’m still working out what my next chapter looks like, but one thing I know is
that I’m not finished yet.
