I have just been speaking with a lovely couple. They have booked their wedding photographer for their wedding later this year. I am not critical, the photographer is very good and polite etc. She is charging £1800 plus an additio@nal £500 for an album, good quality but not hand-made Italian. Our cost would be £795 and includes a top quality Italian album. We have been named as best wedding photographers for the past 7 years. Oh so often I hear "My mate's taking our wedding photos. He's got the latest iPhone or Google Pixel". Yes but does your mate know anything about weddings? Do you realise the photos are ok for Facebook etc but nowhere near big enough for quality prints. What about bokeh, off camera flash, controlling depth of field, balancing ambient with flash, organising guests, arranging poses, sorting the bride's dress, getting phones out of fellas' pockets, fastening button-holes? Can your mate do all that with his new phone?

An amazing show last night at Montgomery Hall. The audience was on its feet. There are a few stall tickets left for tonight (Saturday 18th) if you missed last night's show.
