With our team growing rapidly, we needed fresh uniforms fast and City Work Wear delivered with excellent quality and an incredibly quick turnaround as always.

Our crew are looking smart, professional, and ready for action at every event. 💪🎤💡

It's probably time we updated our socials with what we got up to last week… and wow, what a week it was!

We had multiple crews out in full force, helping out a fellow local events company to deliver:
🎧 Sound techs
💡 Lighting techs
🎤 Stage managers
🚛 Load-in/load-out crews
🔌 A whole lot of AV kit on hire

All of this for what can only be described as "the wettest festival day of the season... so far!" ☔️ Yep, the raincoats made an appearance - in July, no less! 😅

Meanwhile, one of our DDA stage access ramps was out on hire to another event, ensuring safe and easy access to the performance platform. Accessibility matters, and we’re proud to support it at every opportunity. ♿️✨

After a few long (and muddy) days in fields, the crew had a well-earned day off before jumping straight back into prep for another huge show last weekend… 👀
Let’s just say: you’re in for a treat when we drop the next batch of behind-the-scenes!

🌞 Sunday Recap 🌞

What A Week 🙌

This week’s highlight? Friday night’s incredible gender reveal at The Yellow Lion Greasbrough💙💗
We had the honour of firing off some spectacular SFX, with coloured powder shots and metallic streamers filling the air in a moment full of emotion and excitement. A memory to last a lifetime! 💥✨

And that’s not all…

On Saturday, we were out on the water with Sprotbrough Riverboat - The Wyre Lady Partyboat, supplying A Sound tech and all equipment for Phuture Beatz’ 13th Birthday 🎉🔊 What a party!

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, the team’s been:
🎪 Designing and prepping our upcoming festival shows
🎤 Working closely with & attending some very important meetings with event organisers and artists
✅ Locking in all the details for what’s shaping up to be a huge festival season!
💼 Investing in even more equipment

It’s always amazing to receive feedback from the shows we put on, this one from a recent conference/awards is just one example.

Dear Joe and the rest of the AV team,

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything you did to help bring our event yesterday, to life.

From the seamless transitions to the crisp sound and visuals, your work made a real difference in creating a polished and professional experience for everyone. It was clear how much care and that expertise went into every detail—and it didn’t go unnoticed. The music for the Shine Awards for example, was really spot on!

We made changes here and there, added new content in last minute and you adapted quickly and were so accommodating.

We’re so grateful for your support in helping us put on such a great event. Thank you again for being such a brilliant part of the team.

#🥵 Its been a very warm week 🥵

As the crazy Season continues we’ve got a little bit of a round up from the past week.

Very early Thursday morning ( 1am 😴 ) we had a crew out at Magna Science Adventure Centre installing over 3500 amps of power distribution for a Tech event. Suppling 95 tables with power for Techmax ( tech for techs )

Friday saw the load in for Hooton Lodge Farm. Forge it Festival ( The Legends ) with stage, sound, lighting, video and LED screens.

Saturday the weather could not have been more perfect for an outdoor festival, highs of 25 and sunny. With tribute artists covering anything from meatloaf to Queen. An amazing crowd and atmosphere made the day so enjoyable.

Sunday, early morning 3 of our plain clothed crew were on site in landermeads assisting the build of a 6m stage for a nearby company.

We also had an audio engineer and PA out assisting PHABDoncaster with their fully accessible and adaptable PHAB Fest.

Let’s just say it’s been a week !!

And on to the next we go 🟢
