A fantastic afternoon was had by all yesterday at our post east social event. Our team organise social events throughout the year, for our older residents within the borough to encourage socialising and to help combat isolation and loneliness.

We work with our colleagues in the Havering Council Arts Department at these events. On this occasion they delivered an Easter themed craft activity. We thank Scott and Shema for providing a fun crafting session for attendees to enjoy.

Attendees were also treated to a lunch of full roast dinner, with meringue nests for pudding!
