Throwback Thursday!

A little look back at last week’s fabulous carnival in Fowey!

What a joyful evening it was, with plenty of leaflets handed out to lots of lovely, friendly faces along the route. It’s always such a great feeling seeing the community come together, and we had the best time being part of it.

And the best bit… we came THIRD! What a result!

Carnival season is nearly over now, with just a few remaining, and I honestly can’t believe how quickly it’s gone. It’s been such good fun and a wonderful way to get Cornish Maid Floristry out and about in our local communities.

A little look back to this time last week, when I had the privilege of creating and delivering a very special, deeply personal funeral tribute. Delivered to Personal Choice Funeral Directors

The coffin spray was filled with beautiful reds and pinks, but what made this tribute so incredibly personal were the little details that told the story of a much-loved life, including a budgie and a black cat figurine, nestled amongst the flowers.

Alongside the coffin spray, I created a mixed posy from the grandchildren, and beautiful red roses to be placed at the graveside.

Funeral flowers are about so much more than beautiful blooms. They are a way of telling someone's story, remembering the things they loved and creating something that feels truly personal to them and their family.

I absolutely love being able to work with families to bring those personal touches to life. It is an honour to create something that helps celebrate a life, reflect a personality and provide a meaningful farewell.

Every tribute is created with care, compassion and, of course, love.
