My quote of the week came from the wonderful 90-something gent who so enjoys reminiscing with me that his time during the session is spent throwing his hands up in the air as he remembers an anecdote related to what we're discussing (many of which I mercilessly reuse for the rest of the month!)

Yesterday he said, as I was leaving, 'you take 10 years off my age each time'... only a few more sessions until we're the same age then 😉

Here I go again... I've started compiling everything for October's theme, 'A Taste of Home'.

Over the next week, I'll not only be laying down my face to face session plan but also scripting the TCC TV version, ready for filming.

I also have several of my fun reels set already, including the history of jelly, a celebration of the full English breakfast and the story of afternoon tea!

The IT guy (my husband!) and I have had a busy month updating the website and creating video content for my new offering - The Curiosity Case Television, aka TCC TV.

This new video subscription, which takes the form of monthly themed vintage 'TV Program' style videos, has been designed both for customers I can't reach/fit into my schedule, and as an add-on for the lovely homes I already visit in person.

An introductory video is available on the website, with the service going live on 1 October. Once subscribed, customers will immediately have access to video and other content for two themes.

As I left the lovely Whitegates Care Home yesterday, one of the wonderful residents commented on what a laugh we always have. Such a nice comment, had the majority of laughs not been as a result of my school photos 📷🙈😂

I've never had a theme were the expression 'pudding basin' has been so widely used!!! ✂️
