3 multicore stage boxes
150ish punters
10/12 volunteers
And a well stocked bar

Add them all to an awesome venue and allow to play until the last song is sung

What a night, definitely one for the gigging history book. Back to back Paul Simon classics along with some very well penned original tracks.

A cold night in a barn last night providing PA and lighting for a local village school fundraiser.

Definitely missed the old 1000w par cans, they would have kept us toasty. (but probably melted the limited power supply)

Fortunately the bands were on fire and the crowd soon warmed up, dancing the chills.

While team Dave was keeping it local in North Yorkshire, we took a small DAS line array system to Thoresby Park Nottingham for VW Spring social. A great weekend, fantastic weather and a great crowd. Looking forward to the next one.

It’s been another contrasting week. Firstly, we were asked to provide a PA and a simple lighting system for a band to perform at a wedding in the heart of County Durham. Once we actually stopped driving round in circles and found the “signpostless” venue, a quick and efficient installation was the key, working around the venue’s team as they turned the function room around. Fortunately we always set off early just incase….

In contrast, this weekend we provided a comprehensive but compact PA & Lighting system for a local beer festival run by a fabulous community. Throughout the day & night the crowd heard 7 bands ranging from a local community music for fun group to established cover bands playing an eclectic range of tracks. A very long day with lots of sticky cabling to clean but we loved every minute and made many new friends.

We also took the opportunity to try our new mixing desk, after a week of testing & tinkering. ALLEN & HEATH have upgraded the old QU series desks and what a desk the new QU-5 is.

Now taking a couple of weeks off to pack up and move house, forgot how much work is involved.

Another truly fantastic night at Hutton Rudby Arts, our first time working with Dean Owens Musician - Official & The Sinners. The night was a shift from the folk we’re accustomed to, venturing into the world of Americana. The songs, the stories and the immense talent had us in the edge of seats. Thank you so much everyone!!!

Sun was shining again on Saturday so off to the seaside we went. However not a bag of ‘chips n scraps’ or a lemon top in sight, we were there to immerse ourselves in some high quality rock with Ultimate Whitesnake - North East tribute band. Despite having a 3 month break, they were on fire with back to back classic Whitesnake tracks from across the decades, playing to a packed venue.

Had the absolute pleasure of working with Debs and Stu from Megson for the first time last night at Hutton Rudby Arts. A truly breathtaking performance to a full house of music lovers. No better way to spend a Saturday evening!!

The events industry is always quiet in January and we’ve had break over the last couple of months to focus on other projects.

2026 started with nothing but rain for over 40 days and 40 nights and we heard Noah & Moses were coming out of retirement for a comeback tour.

However, Saturday brought us a truly biblical event, the clouds cleared with a bright burning orb dominating the blue skies.

What a motivation to get the wheels of steels loaded with gear and head out to immerse ourselves in some awesome live music.

Quantum north east rock covers band blew away the winter blues at The Turbinia with a jaw dropping high energy classic rock set. What a start to the year…….onwards we roll! 🤘
