Indian block print onto cotton and make your own beautiful lampshade, using mahogany wooden hand crafted Indian blocks.

Located at the beautiful: Dory Gallery, Llangollen, Denbighshire, North Wales.

Day: Saturday 24th May
Time: 10am to 4pm

You will be guided through the different techniques of printing onto textiles using an array of carved wooden blocks and a wide range of paints.

This is a full days workshop with a lunch break, were you can explore what Llangollen has to offer, e.g. great deli's and gift shops, or bring some lunch with you and take in the ambience of the Dory Gallery whilst helping yourself to tea, coffee and cake.

You will gain the skills of hand printing onto material and turning your printed creation into your very own lampshade. All materials will be provided and your tutor for this event has trained with the Indian Block Print Co and has a wealth of experience and knowledge to make sure you go home feeling confident and ready to explore the world of block printing.

You will learn some top tips and techniques to achieve the best results in block printing. All materials for the course will be provided, and there will also be an opportunity to purchase your own Indian wooden blocks and paints to take home with you, on the day.

This session will start at 10am and finish at 4pm to give you plenty of time to do some more exploring of this scenic location.
The full day course costs £75 per person.
