Coming in for an exclusive September pop-up spot, JB Gone Cooking is serving up tasty dishes from Goan Pork to Courgette Fritti & Halloumi parathas - all made with fresh, local Cornish ingredients.

Inspired by travels and a love of comforting flavours, their kitchen turns fresh Cornish produce into bold, global plates plates worth talking about. Come and try from 5th September!

What a launch night!

Silco’s kitchen takeover launched with a buzzing courtyard, cocktails flowing, and plates of bold, global flavours heading out to happy tables all evening.

Missed it? Don’t worry - come down, grab a Rhubarb Sour Spritz, and taste their brand new menu at the Buttermarket. Think Lebanese spiced lamb, crispy whitebait, and dreamy Sri Lankan lentil fritters… tasty doesn’t even cover it.

Come along for stories this Wednesday with the wonderful Redruth Library & Information Service!

📣What's on this week at Redruth Library? We have a great week of activities for the last full week of the holidays!

🎶There are Rhymetime sessions on Tuesday at 14:00 and Friday at 11:00
📚We are taking the library out to The Buttermarket Redruth for a Storytime which will be our final Wonderful Wednesday event.
🧱 Our Lego club is running as normal on Saturday.
🎲The monthly Family Boardgame Club will also be running on Saturday.

There is still time for children to join up for the Summer Reading Challenge, it runs until 13th September and they can sign up for the challenge with us here at Redruth Library. They just need to read 6 books from Cornwall Libraries over the next few weeks. We have a mini challenge for the under 4's and a challenge for anyone aged 12+ too.

Come and join us next Wednesday!

Enjoy a story and some crafting with the Redruth Library team at The Buttermarket Redruth. 14:00-14:45 next Wednesday 27th August.

The story and craft activity will be aimed at children aged 4-8 but is open to all. This event is free to attend and is drop-in, no need to book.

This event is the last of our Wonderful Wednesday’s that have been happening across the school summer holidays – we hope you have enjoyed our summer activities as much as we have 🤩

We’re halfway through the summer holidays, and if you’re running out of ideas to keep the kids entertained whilst you tuck into tasty street food, the Buttermarket has you covered!

Every Tuesday lunchtime it’s all about Crafty Courtyard - a drop-in table full of drawing, art and craft activities to keep little hands busy and imaginations buzzing whilst they munch.

On Wednesdays, join us for free children’s entertainment - no booking needed, just bring the kids along, soak up the sunshine and grab a bite from one of our kitchens, including kids specials.
