The whole of Lowender Festival is packed with song, dance and Celtic language activities so we recommend diving into our whole programme and immersing yourself in everything we have to offer! But, if you are looking to visit the festival on Thursday 15th October only, there is plenty for you to enjoy!
Thursday's programme:
🔘Rose Cottage Redruth , 6PM – Yeth an Werin
Join us for a special pre-show Yeth an Werin, our friendly Cornish language conversation group with Sarah Buck and Emma Jenkin. Grab dinner or drinks from 5pm and practice your Kernewek, Cornish language! Complete beginners are very welcome to come and hear Cornish spoken.
🔘 Buttermarket, 7PM - Sundown Session with folk musician and poet, Ben Banford. Enjoy folk music and poetry alongside drinks and food from the Buttermarket's international kitchens.
🔘 Redruth Wesley, 7:30PM - Anna Anise Album Launch (Pre-festival special)
Featuring all the musicians who played on Anna’s debut bilingual Cornish/English album, Aneth. Aneth means ‘marvel’ or ‘wonder’ in Cornish. Support comes from the amazing Salt & Sky.
