Behind the scenes at RW Entertainments

Tonight’s session was extra special with the newest member of our team, George, putting in the work as he trains for his 2026 debut. His grit, determination, and hunger to develop his skills are exactly what we look for — because at RW Entertainments, no one gets to represent us until they’re signed off to our highest standards.

So, when someone asks a DJ for “mates’ rates” or “Can you do it for £150?” and we say NO, remember — it’s not just the hours on the night. It’s the many, many hours of preparation that make those packed dancefloors possible.

Our very own Ryan smashed it tonight Boardmasters Beach Bar as the festival started.

Working with RW Entertainments is more than wedding DJ’s. We have years of festivals and party nights too.

Last night we had a night off DJing and led an auction for a family whose mum has terminal bowl cancer. We were asked by Amber and the The Victoria Inn at Threemilestone to help, we just couldn’t say no.

The husband “Craig” said to us £1500 would be great if we could raise that.

With a small audience with big hearts we raised ……….

At the end her son and her husband hugged and cried in front of us. It was so powerful and made us proud to have helped them.

Before the radio we would never had been asked. But thanks to Cornwall’s Rewind Radio and the work of the whole team, we get to help people and this fills our happy bucket more than anything else we do.

There was a 7 night holiday in South Devon for 3 people in a cute cottage which can be used any time of the year between now and next year. It’s 5 mins from Brixham, Paignton and the river dart.

The reserve was £350 if anyone is interested and it’s dog friendly.

On Saturday myself and Richard went to Polurrian Bay Hotel and DJ’d for Lisa and Alan on their wedding day.

Beautiful venue and an amazing night. The night was made more entertaining by the amazing and party animal the “dancing photographer” Bex Chamberlain Photography. One of the best in the industry.

The tunes were bouncing and the selfie station got good use.
