Covering Redditch and surrounding areas. About Me
I’m DJ Sarge, a passionate and versatile disc jockey turning ordinary events into unforgettable celebrations. Music has been my lifelong companion—I grew up surrounded by vinyl records, mixtapes, and the electric energy of live performances. From my first set behind the turntables in the sergeants mess to private events, my mission has always been simple: to create lasting memories through the power of sound. Each step of my journey has taught me the importance of adaptability, professionalism, and genuine passion for my craft. My Style & Sound
I pride myself on a diverse musical palette that spans:
Top 40 & Pop Hits:** Keeping dance floors packed with the latest chart-toppers.
60s,70s.80s, and 90s throwbacks. Whether I’m layering deep baselines under soulful vocals or building tension into a euphoric crescendo, my goal is to take listeners on an immersive sonic journey. What Sets Me Apart
Professionalism & Reliability: From our first conversation to the final encore, you can count on punctuality, clear communication, and a stress-free experience. Let’s Create Something Unforgettable
Music has a unique power to connect people, spark joy, and turn moments into memories. If you’re looking for a DJ who brings energy, emotion, and expertise to every event, let’s talk. I’d love to learn more about your vision and help you craft a soundtrack that resonates long after the last song fades. Feel free to reach out via email or social media, and let’s get the party started!

Morning Simon. I hope your travel back to Suffolk wasn’t too arduous. Here is a review for you to put on your DJ SARGE page as I can’t see a space to right comments.

On behalf of Bound Together CIC I would like to extend a huge thank you to you for playing our DJ slot at our Celebration day event. After we had to postpone our original date due to really poor weather, your professionalism to still commit your time to us on a rescheduled date was so highly appreciated. Due to this being an outside event and the obvious risk of more adverse weather you went over and beyond to make sure we had your very best facilities to cater our event. Everyone enjoyed the music and it was the backbone of raising such a fantastic energy. Once it went dusk and we got the full effect of the lights then the field became the dance floor and we all had the most amazing time having a dance and sing along. Thank you so much for all your hard work you put into the event on our behalf. Anyone using your services in the future will not be disappointed. I know for definite DJ SARGE The Veteran DJ is at the top of our list for next year’s event.

Set up for a 40th Birthday party

Why is it acceptable for every other part of an event to go up in price… but the DJ is expected to stay cheap?

Venue costs go up.
Food costs go up.
Drink prices go up.
Fuel goes up.
Equipment goes up.
Subscriptions go up.

But the moment a DJ charges what their service is actually worth, people act like it is unreasonable.

A professional DJ is not just pressing play.

You are paying for:
✅ Experience
✅ Preparation
✅ Music knowledge
✅ Reliable equipment
✅ Travel
✅ Set-up time
✅ Crowd reading
✅ Atmosphere
✅ The ability to keep your event flowing all night

Most DJs are bringing thousands of pounds worth of gear, years of experience, and the responsibility of helping make your event memorable.

So let’s be honest:

Why do people happily pay more for the venue, the bar, and the catering — but question the price of the person responsible for the party atmosphere?

👇 I really want to hear your thoughts:
Do you think DJs are undervalued?
What do you think people misunderstand most about DJ pricing?

Wow....My first summer ball booking and what a night it was. The night was filled with memories and banter toasts and tears. Food was absolutely amazing and the alcohol was flowing.

Once all the toasts and courses were completed I opened the dancefloor with Earth wind and fires absolute banger September. Dancefloor quickly filled and stayed that way all night as I smashed out 70s and 80s hits all night.

Had such an amazing as a veteran myself and so did my wife and roadie Debra Hobson
Massive thanks to Nick Walker and Lynne Walker and all the members of Redditch Armed forces veterans Breakfast Club.

My first ever wedding as a DJ. 170 guests and dancefloor was never empty all night.
