Baby blue with soft white and ivory tones has been one of my most requested colour schemes from brides this season.

Here’s a large bowl arrangement of hydrangea, delphinium, roses and ranunculus, that was used for the wedding ceremony and then moved to the top table afterwards. I believe the best arrangements are the ones that can be used and enjoyed throughout the day. It’s more sustainable, and it means you get more from your flower budget too.

I’ll never have a catalogue of stock designs for you to choose funeral flowers from, because I believe they should reflect the person they’re being created for.

I want to hear about them, their personality, the colours they loved, the flowers that hold a memory and little details that meant something to them.

It’s one of the final things you’ll choose for someone you love and I’ll always do my very best to do right by them 🤍

Whilst I styled the overall setup and florals, it was a privilege being able to work alongside so many talented local businesses in Ramsbottom to bring the vision to life.

I think this setup ended up becoming such a lovely reflection of the creativity and talent we have within our local community, and how special it can be when small businesses collaborate with one another.

Introducing our first event backdrop, now available to hire.

This feels like a very natural next step as we begin transitioning into The Velvet Stem Floristry & Events, expanding into event styling, prop hire and bespoke setups alongside floristry.

I’ve poured so much time and care into this over the past couple of weeks, and seeing it finally come together feels really special. Every detail has been considered to create something soft, contemporary and luxurious.
