Baylight is a free, family-friendly light art trail and community parade taking place in February along the Morecambe town centre seafront.

Calling All Traders and Stallholders!
Morecambe Local Street Market is back — but we need your help!

We’re inviting local traders, makers, and food producers to join us for two special free market days in Morecambe town centre this August!

Join us on Wednesday 13th August and Sunday 17th August, with markets running from Market St, Euston Rd and New Town Square.

These trial markets will feature a fantastic mix of artisan goods, local produce, crafts, and delicious food stalls, plus children’s entertainment, creating a lively, family-friendly atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

On this occasion, trading is completely free for all stallholders — a brilliant chance to showcase your business, connect with new customers, and help bring even more buzz to the town centre.

📣 FREE WORKSHOP WEEK IS BACK THIS AUTUMN 📣
DigiLab is a free workshop week for anyone (18+)who wants to develop skills in projection mapping, led by imitating the dog, held at Lightworks, the home of Blackpool Illuminations.
📅 Mon 24th – Fri 28th Nov 2025.
Participants will learn about the ITD approach to site-specific projection-mapped installations, from storyboarding through to basic animation and mapping techniques.

Today, thanks to the fantastic help of the guys at White Lund Metals we said farewell to the Great White Whale, as he headed off to his new home at Halton Mill: co-working, studios, & event space !! He sang as he went!
Thanks again also to the team at Morecambe BID who sponsored the whale for Baylight this year. 👏👏
