BLIMEY! What an ABSOLUTE STONKER of a weekend we've just had across Lancashire! 🤪
🕺 Friday? RETRO NIGHT at The Plough was PROPERLY BRILLIANT! DJ Dan had everyone from nans to teens GOING MENTAL to classic tunes! The place was RAMMED! 🔥
✨ Saturday brought DOUBLE TROUBLE with Evie's magical 6th in Blackpool (her face when we pulled that rabbit out - PRICELESS!) Then DASHED to Thomas's 5th birthday bash in Poulton where our party games had the little ones UTTERLY BUZZING! 🪄
💃 Saturday night? Jane & Mike's GOLDEN WEDDING KNEES-UP at the Glendower Hotel! DJ Dan dropped tunes so BANGING that three generations were cutting shapes until the wee hours!!
👑 Sunday we SMASHED IT at Thea's Christening at The Ashley Club! Kids having a WHALE OF A TIME while the grown-ups were requesting absolute CHOONS! We don't do naff parties - we do UNFORGETTABLE ONES! ✨
🎯 Final stop? Our Bangers Bingo Night at Lytham Bierhaus was CHOCKA with prizes flying EVERYWHERE! Proper CARNAGE! 🤑

What a weekend we've just had at Music and Mayhem! For those who don't know us, we're a children's entertainment company based in Preston, bringing fun and laughter to kids' parties across Lancashire, Blackpool and the Fylde coast.
Friday night kicked off with our monthly Retro DJ Night at The Plough in Freckleton, and it was absolutely rammed! DJ Dan was spinning all those forgotten classics from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, and the crowd went wild. The place was heaving with people singing along to tunes they hadn't heard in years. Something special about watching everyone's faces light up when that song they'd completely forgotten about comes on! The dance floor didn't empty all night.
Saturday was a whirlwind with Lilah's 5th birthday party in Langho, Blackburn in the morning. These little ones have so much energy! Then straight over to Cleveleys for Jenny's 7th birthday celebration in the afternoon. The magic show was a hit with both crowds!
Sunday didn't slow down one bit - we started with Thomas and Roman's joint 5th birthday bash in Burscough. Those two made brilliant magic assistants and had everyone in stitches. Then it was a dash to Oldham for a christening party with 15 energetic kids (and adults who couldn't help joining in the fun too!).
We capped off our manic weekend with our weekly Music Bingo night at Lytham Bierhaus, which is becoming quite the local sensation!

🎉 What a week it’s been for Music & Mayhem!
From quiz nights to birthday parties, we’ve been out across Lancashire bringing the fun, the tunes, and plenty of big smiles.
🧠 Wednesday: Georgina hosted her usual quiz at the Birley Arms in Warton—packed as always, with great banter and a cracking crowd.
🧠 Thursday: Dan’s weekly quiz at The Ship in Freckleton was buzzing—32 teams turned up for a brilliant night of trivia and laughs. That one’s fast becoming a local legend.
🎂 Friday: We helped John celebrate his 80th birthday at Freckleton Sports & Social Club. Over 150 guests, a full dancefloor, and a night to remember.
🎈 Saturday: Two amazing kids’ parties—Lillie turned 6 in Chorley and Toby turned 5 in Preston. Games, music, balloons, and lots of giggles all round.
🎉 Sunday: Triple whammy! We kicked off with Lilly’s 7th in Kirkham, then headed to Ella’s 6th in Blackpool. Finished the weekend at The Swan in Kirkham for Dan’s weekly karaoke party—full pub, full voices, full vibes.
Thanks to all the families, venues, and party people who made it such a brilliant week. If you’ve got a celebration coming up, we’d love to be part of it.
