1 whole year of being married 🤍

I honestly don’t know where that year has gone.

Looking back at our wedding day today has reminded me just how quickly it all passes. You spend so long planning it, thinking about every little detail and counting down the days… and then suddenly, it’s here.

So to all of my couples whose wedding is getting closer — take it all in.

When you walk into your room for the first time, stop for a second. Look at the tables, the flowers, the candlelight. Notice the scent, the music, the people you love filling the room.

Because something I realised on my own wedding day is that all those details aren’t really just about making somewhere look beautiful.

Together, they create a feeling. An atmosphere.

And long after the day is over, that’s the part you remember.

It’s probably one of the reasons I’m so passionate about what we create at The Venue Edit. I know how much thought goes into your day, and I know just how special that moment is when you finally get to see it all come together.
