🏴‍☠️ Did you know BGT has a private treasure hunting group? 👀

The only way to get an invite is by taking part in the Village Bakery eating challenge.
Not only does that give you access to the group, but the challenges also help raise money and awareness for some fantastic causes. ❤️

The current challenge is raising funds for a great local cause , Minnie’s broken Heart and every participant helps make a difference while having a bit of fun along the way. 🍰

My goal is to build a group full of enthusiastic treasure hunters , because when this current food challenge comes to an end, the group will be getting its very own exclusive treasure hunt! 💰🗺️

So if you’ve been thinking about taking on a challenge, now might be the perfect time. You’ll be supporting a good cause, earning your invite, and joining a community of fellow treasure hunters.

🏴‍☠️ Some exciting news for the Village Bakery challenge! 🍰🔥
Many of you may already know him, but competitive eating legend Max vs Food is flying back from America to take part in the challenge! 😲✈️

Not only is this brilliant for the challenge itself, but it will also help bring a huge amount of awareness to the fantastic cause we’re raising money for - Minnie’s Broken Heart ❤️

The more people who see, share, take part, and support the challenge, the more awareness we can raise and the more good we can do.

A massive thank you to Max for getting involved, and a huge thank you to Village Bakery for putting on such a fun event in support of charity.

🏴‍☠️ Here’s is where Treasure Hunt #38 was hidden…
The treasure chest was hidden under the book on the Charles Dickens statue in Guildhall Square, Portsmouth 📚💰
I checked at around 10pm and it had definitely gone… but strangely, nobody has messaged to claim it! 🤔

So either:
🕵️ A silent treasure hunter found it…
🤫 Someone forgot to tell us…
👻 Or Charles Dickens himself fancied a late-night reward.

If you were the lucky finder, do let us know! I always enjoy hearing who found it and how long it took.

Fancy winning a £20 gift card? 💳💰

Your challenge is simple…

👉 Guess the total weight of the treasure in the picture (in grams).

📝 One guess per person, per day
⏳ Competition closes next week…..probably Friday
🏆 The person with the correct guess wins a £20 gift card!

If nobody guesses the exact weight, the closest guess wins.

And if multiple treasure hunters somehow land on the same winning weight… we’ll need a tie-breaker. What that tie-breaker will be? I haven’t got a clue yet… but I’m sure we can think of something suitably chaotic 😅🏴‍☠️
