Richard and Dan paid a visit to the Liphook Model Railway Group this evening. They are a friendly group with a great layout - Friedrichstrasse and others under construction!

Richard and Dan were invited to the Haslemere Information Hub at Haslemere Station event today for their ceremony of handing the signalbox keys over from Network Rail to the Haslemere hub.

Haslemere Signal Box was decommissioned in November 2025 as the control was taken over by the ROC in Basingstoke.

The signal box now forms part of the Information hub as a museum along side the upstairs of the station building telling the history of the railway at Haslemere.

Keep an eye on their page for future visitor open days.

Today's event also coincided with Clan Line passing through enroute to Portsmouth, stopping at Haslemere for water.
