Here’s a little behind-the-scenes glimpse of me in action at a beautiful December wedding 🤍

While everyone else sees the smiles, the confetti and the first dance… I see timelines, details, finishing touches and all the moving parts that make the magic happen. From fluffing dresses and pinning buttonholes, to cueing music, calming nerves, checking suppliers in and keeping everything running seamlessly, I’m there for it all.

I had the joy of helping my stunning bride, Alix, get ready from easing her nerves to putting the finishing touches in place. She looked absolutely breathtaking, and her little girl was the cutest little vision in her dress.

As a wedding planner, my role isn’t just about timelines and logistics; it’s about creating calm, meaningful moments so my couples feel completely supported.

“We Don’t Need a Wedding Planner” — The Phrase I Hear Most Often

“We don’t need a wedding planner — we’ll manage it ourselves.”

It’s something I hear often, and I completely understand why. You’re organised, creative, and have a vision for your day, why hand that over to someone else?

But here’s the truth most couples don’t realise until the very end: planning a wedding isn’t just about choosing beautiful things. It’s about orchestrating them.

Behind every seamless celebration is someone quietly coordinating timelines, guiding suppliers, managing deliveries, solving problems before anyone notices, and ensuring the day unfolds exactly as it should, gracefully and without chaos.

When you say “we don’t need a planner,” what you’re really saying is that you’ll handle every question, every phone call, every decision, every hiccup.

But you deserve to be fully present, to enjoy your morning with a glass of champagne, to take a deep breath before walking down the aisle, to feel the magic of the day you’ve dreamed of.

A planner doesn’t take your vision away. We protect it.

So no, you might not need a wedding planner.
