I'm turning 40 in 25 days and I'm feeling amazing. It took me a while to realize that my happiness should be my priority. I spent 20 years trying to please others, but now I'm focusing on myself.
The past five years have been about finding my own happiness and peace, while still caring for those I love. Let's keep pushing forward. And to those who think I've given up on music, keep dreaming 😅. Life's too short to waste on other people's opinions.

Where the hell is music going with all this AI stuff?

I’m not here to hate. AI can be useful, no doubt. But using it as a tool is one thing, letting it do the whole job for you is another.

Some producers are fully riding the AI wave. Vocals, melodies, even whole tracks. But here’s the catch: platforms like YouTube are already working on ways to detect that. And once your track gets flagged as AI generated? Say goodbye to monetisation. No copyright. No ownership. Just a label that says “this ain’t yours.”

And let’s talk about sample packs.
Can we actually trust what’s in them anymore?
How many of those loops are AI made? Are companies even telling us? Because if they’re not, you could be dropping tunes that won’t stand up later.

I’m not pointing fingers. Everyone can do what they want.
But I’ll keep making music the way I always have, with feeling, chaos, imperfection. The real stuff.

To be honest, I’m kinda glad AI is blowing up.
It makes the difference more obvious.
The more clean, robotic music floods the scene, the easier it is to spot something that’s got soul.

So yeah, keep feeding the machine.
I’ll stay messy and human.

Tem várias plataformas de streaming por aí, mas os artistas seguem em posição fetal na porta do Spotify como se fosse o único buffet de música do planeta. O detalhe? É justamente a plataforma que menos paga por play. Tipo, de acordo com Digital Music News, o Spotify paga cerca de US$ 0.003 a US$ 0.005 por reprodução, se a gente fosse depender disso pra pagar um almoço, era jejum intermitente forçado. 😅

Enquanto isso, a galera finge que Apple Music e Tidal nem existem. O New York Times já destacou que o Tidal paga quase quatro vezes mais por stream, e o Apple Music paga, em média, US$ 0.01 por play. Fora que a qualidade de áudio é superior nas duas (sim, o som não vem todo amassado como no Spotify).

E o melhor: o Apple Music for Artists mostra quantas vezes a sua track foi descoberta no Shazam, se tocou em rádios e ainda te paga desde o primeiro play. Mas claro… o povo gosta é de migalha gourmet, desde que venha num player verdinho com playlist de “Chá com tech house”.

Vai entender. O mercado é livre; livre até pra escolher ser mal tratado com estilo.
