β€œIn true Love there is no pride, . when you love someone ..you have to offer that person the best you have. The best thing we can offer another person is our true presence.”
Thich Naht Hanh. What a beautiful spiritual ceremony yesterday! Steve and Milly gained permission to hold their celebration under the Acacia Tree in the park which holds such meaning for them..they had personal poem telling their story, words of Hound advice from their pup and his doggy friends( many of whom attended!) and their pupster ring bearer, all completed with a hand tying with secret verse and vows. We finished with a Buddhist verse and the whole ceremony was just so personal, really meaningful and moving. Plus the sun shone for us!!
Perfect! 😍

What a beautiful day we had yesterday for the gorgeous Lisa & Mike Broom Hall Country Hotel
The weather was kind, the guests were fun and this couple celebrated with a fun and quirky ceremony.
I also got to work with the lovely Brett King Photography who was just smashing!
I can’t wait to see the photos!

Happy Bank Holiday! πŸ€—

I am feeling showered with lots of your lovely love this morning!
So many enquiries received this weekend for next year and beyond, and even a few asking about this year!
Sadly I will not be taking any more bookings for 2023 😒
I take a limited number of weddings each year for several reasons, importantly, you deserve my best self - full attention, all in and bringing my "A" game- and weddings are WORK!
You see, a celebrant prides themself on the relationships they build with venues, suppliers, and of course most importantly YOU!
and this gives us the opportunity to create the best ceremony you could have ever dreamed of!
But all of this takes time and energy, there are no cut and paste ceremonies here , you deserve the very best, you deserve more than the same words as someone else, and definately more than a simple "repeat after me",
Every ceremony is bespoke and written exclusively for ( and alongside) each couple!
However my '24 and '25 diaries are open, and bookings are taken on a first come first served basis, 😊
I still do have some availability for 2024 πŸŽ‰so dont delay - the sad step is not where I want you to be 😒 - if I am your person then get in touch!
Thanks for the love, I am so forever grateful to be able to do what I do and spread love and laughter whilst celebrating the "youniqueness" of all of your yummy love stories!
😍

Day 4: What's my superpower?
πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ
Well us celebrants would rather talk about everyone else than ourselves but it's equally important that we know ourselves well, πŸ₯°
My superpower is definitely LOVE!
In every form possible!πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ Love made me,
love supports me,
love encourages me and love πŸ’• gives me all those happy excited feelings! β€οΈπŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ€ŽπŸ–€πŸ’œ
I have love behind me, with a family and husband I could not be more proud of and who I hope are proud of me, they push me to be my best self and encourage me in this crazy adventure! ❀️
I have love in me, in bucketfuls, to shower upon all the wonderful people I get to work with , and love shines through, the love of romance, love of love, the love of celebrating life's greatest occasions, the love I have for what I do- live what you love, love what you do and all that! πŸ’•πŸ’•
The love that people I work with and create ceremonies for have for one another is the most amazing precious thing, and I get to celebrate it with them, sprinkling love and happiness all over every moment making it memorable! -πŸ’
And I have oodles of gorgeous love ahead of me with all the fabulous people I have yet to meet and get to create wonderfulness with!
😍😍😍
well it doesn't get better than that-I LOVE It!

Day 3 of World Celebrant Week with -
what I love about what I do!
πŸ’œβ€οΈπŸ–€πŸ€ŽπŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’›πŸ§‘
Being a celebrant- there is nothing better, it's the biggest honour to share in, and be a part of,
the MOST important occasions in someone's life. To see the love, smiles, tears, laughter, raw emotion that a celebrant ceremony can evoke, and know that you had a small part supporting personal choice, and in facilitating the best memories for people to hold.
It's an honour, a privilege and yes, it can be scary and stressful but we also meet amazing gorgeous people and work with the best teams of suppliers! What I love? ALL OF ITπŸ₯°

3 Reasons to choose a celebrant?

πŸ’œβ€οΈπŸ§‘πŸ’›πŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ€ŽπŸ–€πŸ€

Day 2 of World celebrant week and today's titbit is a sprinkle of why a celebrant ceremony is best! πŸ₯°

Well for me it's simple,
1: Personality- this works in many ways, finding the right celebrant will inject the right tone, feel and X factor to your day: but also you are choosing to have a celebration and it should be all about the people, the"youniqueness" of those involved and be screaming personal and intimate to make it memorable and exactly what you want it to be, every detail planned with you and by you- I mean-you wouldn't book a band to play without hearing their floor fillers first right? πŸ’œ
2: Originality- where do I start with this one?! Well quite simply choosing a celebrant means that your ceremony will be a one off, never before written or spoken masterpiece of celebration, created with all the right sprinkles of personality and energy, noone will forget it, everyone will love it and most importantly you will wonder how you ever considered doing anything different! I mean - you wouldn't choose the same stationary as your best friend right?❀️
3: Choice- choose a celebrant, choose your location, time, content, words, bring your pets, complete your ceremony with a unique element, sing, dance draw, paint, pour sand, drink wine- anything - yes pretty much ANYTHING goes! There are no restrictions, no licenses to bind us and no words we can't say! YOU are in control, I mean - you wouldn't let someone else decide the dress, the flowers, the style, without your input right?
❀️
Choosing Love and the freedom to celebrate your way- this is what it means to choose a celebrant!πŸ’œ
it count
