If you’re seeing some of the kind words shared here and ever find yourself in the difficult position of arranging a funeral for a loved one or friend, please know that I’m here to help. I work with families across Perth, Perthshire and Scotland to create ceremonies that are personal, thoughtful and truly reflective of the life being remembered. I’m registered with all local funeral directors, so you can request me directly when arranging a service.

Every ceremony I create is shaped around the person and the family. That may include religious elements, or none at all — whatever feels right for you. My role is simply to guide you gently through a very difficult time, helping you honour a life in a way that feels meaningful, respectful and true.

Thank you to everyone for your support this year as I started my new business as a celebrant. It has been a risky and tough decision but I'm delighted at the success it has had so far.

When I came up with the concept of my celebrant business, I wanted it to become a true representation of what is important to me. My dad, Euan, was a self-made businessman who ran Perth Kitchen Centre for decades and I wanted to include what he taught me in my branding.

My amazing pal Linda came up with this brilliant business card which arrived today. It's very simple but represents the business in a great way. I love it. The tartan is our own McKellar family clan and this idea came from my sister, Jane.

I am really lucky to be surrounded by great people who want to see my business succeed and I'm truly grateful to all of you who have given me advice, shared my page and, of course, hired me already. 2025 has been a great launch year and I can't wait to see what happens in 2026 when I start conducting legal wedding ceremonies.

It was an absolute honour to be asked to officiate at the naming of Casey today.

Parents Danielle and Callum chose to symbolise their unity, family transformation and connection by including sand pouring as part of their naming celebrations. The individual colours of sand, poured in by various family members, blend into one beautiful and inseparable mixture representing a bond that can never be separated.

It was a fantastic day surrounded by family and friends. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your special day.
