RWCMD Festive Brass 2025
What a brilliantly festive concert today at the Hoddinott Hall (Wales Millennium Centre - Canolfan Mileniwm Cymru) 🎄 🎅🏻

The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama - Coleg Brenhinol Cerdd a Drama Cymru brass band was on fine form, and seemed to thoroughly enjoy rattling through a popular selection of Christmas tunes 🎶

There was an amazing atmosphere in the Hall - not only because the concert was a total sell-out, but the audience really got into the spirit of the occasion!

Even Frosty the Snowman made his annual appearance ⛄️

With just two days to go until this amazing concert, we'd like to mention the two incredible ensembles that will be performing during the event.

Aldbourne Band, one of Wiltshire’s premier Championship Section brass bands with roots dating back to 1860, continues to build on its proud heritage with a string of recent successes, including strong performances at the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain and the British Open Brass Band Championship, acclaimed concert appearances across the UK, and an ever-growing reputation for musical innovation and community engagement.

Côr Caerdydd is an award-winning mixed-voice choir based in Cardiff, renowned for its versatility across classical, contemporary, and Welsh choral repertoire, frequent broadcasts on BBC Radio and television, and acclaimed performances at major national events and festivals throughout the UK.
