Come and pick a fabulous bucket of seasonal flowers - full of colour and scent. We specialise in flowers with a wild, whimsical look which have lots of natural movement and shape. All are flowers are grown sustainably, without using harmful chemicals and pesticides.They are loved by the birds and the bees and we hope you love them too.

How it works:

We are open for PYO from April to October on Thursdays from 2.00 to 6.00pm (and other times on request)

We will provide you with a bucket of fresh water and you can wander around the fields and pick a mixture of focal flowers, filler flowers and foliage. If you wish to pick one type of flower such as tulips or dahlias these will be priced by the stem.

Please bring buckets to take your flowers. Tall, narrow ones are ideal.

Medium mixed bucket (25 stems) : £35

Do you like being creative? A Living Wreath workshop is the perfect opportunity to stop, pause and let your hands do the talking. You will be guided as you wrap bulbs in moss and attach them to a wreath which you can adorn with stems like hazel catkins and p***y willow foraged from the farm. The bulbs will grow and flower over the coming weeks bringing joy to your door over the Easter period. This is a supportive space and no experience necessary.

Mother’s Day Flowers: share these sweetly scented blooms and celebrate your mother with the joy of spring.

The tulips are from Lincolnshire and the blossom, leucojum, sweetly scented narcissi and foliage are grown by Pied Beauty Flowers on Rycote Farm, near Thame, Oxfordshire. We support biodiversity and do not use chemical pesticides. Inhale the scent and enjoy.

These flowers must be pre-ordered as each bunch is hand-picked to order.

Can you spot the iris tuberosa? The black and green velvet beauty. I have been trying to grow it for several years.

When I was asked to make a bunch of flowers from what was on the farm yesterday, I thought I would be seriously challenged. It’s still very early in the year. But I was amazed what there was on offer when I looked closely. There were a few hellebores starting to make seed pods (therefore ok to pick without wilting), leucojum, wallflowers, quince, cherry plum, pittosporum, Euphorbia miners Merlot, osmanthus and wild privet. And my highlight, the iris tuberosa.

In a week or two, I’ll have anemones and narcissi too.

And for Mother’s Day (only two weeks away) I may order in a few billowy tulips to plump out the bunches.

Dried Flower Wreath workshop

All the flowers we will use have been sown and grown on my flower farm, Pied Beauty Flowers, in Oxfordshire. Everything you need will be provided.

British grown flowers and delicious grass-fed steak make the perfect combo for a Valentine’s night in. And all your sustainable values upheld too - the tulips are grown in Yorkshire and all the blossom comes from my farm in Oxfordshire. The cattle on Rose’s farm are lovingly cared for out of doors, are hormone free and make extremely healthy and tasty beef.

Pick both up from Manor Farm, Chearsley, Oxon, HP18 ODH this morning 10.00-12.00.

❤️Valentine pre-orders: These are the most beautiful tulips that I can find on the market at the moment. I’m proposing them as a British and sustainable version to imported Valentine roses. They are grown in the UK but not on my farm (it’s too early for my tulips which won’t be around until April) and therefore they are not quite as long-stemmed or luscious. But, they do look really lovely - especially the deep red ones when they open to expose their black throats.
