It is with heavy hearts that we mark the death of Michala Matthewson, a truly remarkable woman whose presence was felt far and wide. A cherished member of the LibFest team who held the vital role as the family representative, being Liberty’s Auntie. Michala wove together the spirit of community with unwavering dedication and warmth.

Michala was more than a team member, she was the heart of many moments, a steady source of kindness, laughter and strength, not only for the family but all of us in the LibFest team.

As we remember Michala, we will hold close the memories, the laughter and the love she so freely gave. Always part of our story and always in our hearts. 💜
