Meet the Florist || I've had a flurry of lovely new followers after our shoot a couple of weeks ago and I think it's time to reintroduce myself!
My names Lizzie; I started Willow & Bud in 2024 whilst planning my own wedding, as so many other suppliers seem to also do! Floristry was something I'd never considered until I was immersed in it, and I realised how perfect it would be for me; creative, being in nature, the option to grow my own flowers, making something beautiful, and meeting lots of people in love 🩷. Since then I've met gorgeous couples, worked with some amazing suppliers and played with thousands of flowers; what more could I ask for?!
Fun fact; I've also been a nurse for the last 11 years and still work part time doing so, though I'm currently on maternity leave with my 5 month old baby boy, William, who has taken up a lot of my time and attention these past few months, unsurprisingly! 🤍
All my hobbies have always been creative; painting, drawing, singing... you name it. I'm also obsessed with my garden and my allotment, though you'd never know it by the state of it at the moment (thanks William 🫠). Maybe once he's crawling he can do some weeding for me? 🥴
