Bridal Week in Harrogate 🥂

Your mouth: “Yeahhh I think I like it…”

Your body language: girl, absolutely not. 😭

And trust us, your bridal stylist KNOWS.

We sat down with Emma from Shade Bridal for Episode 3 of Inside the Bridal Studio and honestly… this is so real.

You can have 10 brides try on the exact same dress and get 10 completely different reactions.

Because finding your dress isn’t about what TikTok told you to wear, what you’ve saved 400 times on Pinterest or what everyone else in the room thinks.

It’s about how you feel when you’re actually standing in it.

And sometimes your body figures that out before your brain does. 👀

Emma gets it.

Watch the full chat with Emma from Shade Bridal in Inside the Bridal Studio, Episode 3 🎥 (link in our bio).

And if Shade sounds like your vibe, you can discover the store and book your appointment through Revide.

Why does your bridal designer REALLY want you to start looking 12 months before your wedding? 👀

It’s not because your dress takes a whole year to make.

Mette from explains why she loves meeting a bride around 12 months out — same season, same light, same temperature, same vibe.

Because trying to imagine your dreamy June wedding when it’s freezing and dark in December? Not always the easiest assignment.

Basically… your bridal designer isn’t being dramatic when they tell you to start early.

They have their reasons. 😂

Today, we're quietly opening the doors.

We've just published the first entry in our journal, Notes from a Bridal Studio — a personal reflection on the journey so far, written the night before launch.

No pitch decks. No jargon. Just the story behind the biggest project we've ever worked on.

And yes… we're now live.

Sample sales and trunk shows are often seen as special moments in bridal retail.

A chance to find something beautiful.
A limited-time opportunity.
A slightly different kind of appointment.

But behind the scenes, they play a much bigger role.

These events bring together timing, urgency and confidence — and when those elements align, decisions tend to happen more naturally.

In an industry where buying a wedding dress is such an emotional experience, creating the right moment matters.

But those moments rely on visibility.

If the right bride doesn’t see the event at the right time, the opportunity can easily be missed — and unlike traditional retail, these moments don’t come around every day.

We’ve shared a closer look at how sample sales and trunk shows actually drive revenue in bridal retail, and why timing now matters more than ever.

Buying a wedding dress isn’t really shopping.

Shopping is ordering trainers online at 11pm and checking out three minutes later.

Wedding dress shopping is a very different experience.

You bring your mum.
Your best friend.
Maybe your sister.

You try dresses you never expected to like.
You stand in front of the mirror a little longer than usual.
And sometimes there are a few tears along the way.

That’s because buying a wedding dress isn’t just a retail purchase — it sits at the centre of one of the most meaningful moments in someone’s life.

Which is exactly why the bridal experience behaves differently to most other forms of retail.

We’ve shared some thoughts on the blog about why bridal shopping is unlike any other purchase — and why both brides and bridal stores approach the journey differently.

Discovery doesn’t begin with a single Google search anymore.

It often starts with a saved Instagram post. A late-night scroll. A Pinterest board filled with inspiration.

By the time a bride actively looks for a bridal store, she already has expectations — about style, budget, atmosphere and how she wants to feel on the day she finds her dress.

In 2026, discovery is layered. Social. Emotional. Digital.

And when clarity is missing, momentum slows.

We’ve shared a closer look at how modern brides discover bridal stores today — and why alignment now matters more than visibility alone.

From discovery to “I do,” Revide is here to elevate the bridal shopping experience for all involved.
