We had a great bank holiday Monday up with Greasley Parish Council supporting the 2nd annual Greasley Sounds event! This year we supplied 2 stages, the main stage outside and an additional indoor stage, added to the event for this year. It was a another fantastic community event and lots of local live music throughout the day.

We’ve had a great time producing this album over the past few months with the wonderful Calling Time and excited for its launch today! If you’re in the market for some well written, fantastically performed folk music then look no further. All recorded live at Elm Farm Music earlier this year.

We’re very excited 🥳 and delighted that it coincides with our performance this evening at Moira Furnace Folk Festival
You can find it on Bandcamp as a digital download today, the actual CD will be ready in a few weeks time and if you’re at the festival you can order from us this weekend and we’ll post it to you when it’s ready.
We’ll be playing songs from it in our two slots today 6pm and tomorrow midday on the Dave Johns stage 🎶🎶🎶

Stage collected, heading home!

This morning we were back at the annual International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival in Buxton. We were setting up PA in a couple of the fringe venues ready to be ran by volunteers for the busy programme over the next couple of weeks.

We often say that no two days are the same in this job, but today particularly stands out. Being escorted through the pedestrian paths at Chatsworth House to deliver a stage to Opera Anywhere for their performances over the weekend. We supplied 10 of our 2x1m stage platforms to create a large 5x4m stage in the beautiful grounds.

We’ve spent the weekend in Elvaston Castle Country Park’s Old English Garden with Collaboration Musical Theatre Announcements with their performance of ‘The Secret Garden’.
Being in a ‘secret’ traditional walled garden, there was a slight lack of power and PA systems knocking around compared to a theatre buildin! We supplied a PA system, radio mics and a generator to ensure that all audience and cast could hear everything across the 3 performances.

PA and sound engineer today for the Live Music stage at the Kimberley Food Festival. Another fantastic event for the local community organised by Kimberley Town Council. We also helped behind the scenes in the run up to the event; producing site plans and maps for the vendors and public.

With Matt away, we also had a team out yesterday supporting Broxtowe Borough Council with their Beeston Summer Fete! We supplied power, staging and a PA system for the days busy schedule of performances and shows.

Matt’s spent yesterday and today at another Great British Food Festival working for ACTS Sound & Lighting. Friday was setup day, powering up the site and today back running the live music stage. Last day tomorrow!

We were back with The Congregation of Yahweh UK last night for their annual ‘You Matter’ concert. We supplied all the lighting kit and an engineer to keep everything looking colourful!
