NUC Door Team Call-Out – Norwich & East Anglia

As our events grow, we’re building our own trusted pool of SIA-licensed door supervisors to work with us across upcoming urban arts, music, and community events.

We’re not looking for “clipboard and attitude.”

We’re looking for calm, professional people who understand how to keep spaces safe while respecting the positive, inclusive vibe we create PLUR

Most of our events are:
• Family-friendly daytime festivals

• Licensed venue music events (100–500 capacity)

• Community-focused and wellbeing-led

• Based in Norwich and across East Anglia

If you are: • SIA Door Supervisor licensed

• Experienced in pubs, beer gardens, events or festivals

• Good with people and confident managing crowds without escalating situations

• Reliable and professional

We’d love to hear from you.

We’re building a go-to team we can contact directly for future dates rather than using agencies.

We created this space so the unknown can become known.

A place where the quiet creatives sit comfortably next to the loud ones.

Where introverts, extroverts and everyone in between can exist without having to shout to be seen.

Norwich Underground Collective CIC is about empowerment.

A platform + social enterprise that backs people, ideas and energy that don’t always fit the mainstream boxes.

Urban creativity matters 🎶🎨
It’s expression, it’s connection, it’s culture in motion.

And when you give it space, it shapes the future.

Something new is taking shape at NUC… 👀

We’re currently testing a free, carefully managed DJ mentorship programme, using donated studio time to support skills development, confidence and community wellbeing.

This will be: • small-scale to begin with

• fully accountable

• impact-led, not numbers-led

As a new CIC, we’re building slowly and intentionally 💪 earning trust before scaling.

🖤🔊 IT’S OFFICIAL 🔊🖤

Norwich Underground Collective is now a registered Community Interest Company 🎉

As of 9 January 2026, Norwich Underground Collective CIC is officially incorporated and recognised — built to serve community, creativity, wellbeing and underground culture across Norwich and Norfolk.

What this means for NUC:

• Clear transparency and accountability

• Stronger partnerships with venues and organisations

• The ability to fundraise and reinvest properly

• Protection of the project for community benefit, not private profit

This milestone belongs to everyone who’s supported, believed, shared, danced, created, volunteered, donated, or simply held space with us along the way. 💛

This isn’t the finish line — it’s the foundation.

We’ve built the structure. Now we build what sits on top of it. 🌱
