🫐🐴 Blackberry picking with the Shetlands! 🐴🫐

The girls might be getting older and spending more and more time riding their slightly bigger ponies, but there’s still something very special about getting out with their little Shetlands! ❤️

So when the opportunity came up to take the Shetlands along on a Pony Club blackberry-picking ride, they were particularly excited! 🥰

Our ponies still get plenty of adventures with Pony Club alongside all the usual working activities!

Riding in the countryside, plenty of blackberries, even more giggles, and the best kind of fun with friends. 🫐💜

Between them, the girls and ponies collected an impressive 1kg of blackberries (and probably ate about another 1kg en route!)

It’s lovely watching the girls grow and develop with their riding, but we’ll never stop enjoying these little Shetland adventures. 🐴💕

🐴💛 Another very special residential home visit 💛🐴

We had the pleasure of visiting Richmond Villages Northampton Care Home, part of Bupa, and what a wonderful experience it was for both ponies and everyone we met.

The ponies were warmly welcomed by the fantastic activities team and friendly staff, and they had a lovely time meeting the residents. 🥰

We are so lucky that our ponies can use the lift, which meant we could visit residents who were unable to leave their rooms or who were resting there. It was so important to us that everyone who wanted to meet the ponies had the opportunity to do so. 🐴❤️

We also spent time chatting with residents in the lounges and beautiful gardens, enjoying some lovely conversations and plenty of smiles along the way.

The venue itself was beautiful, with excellent facilities and a wonderful, welcoming team of staff. But even more importantly, the residents were an absolute joy to meet!! chatty, happy and a pleasure to spend time with. 😊

It was incredibly special to see just how much meeting the ponies meant to some of the residents. The smiles, excitement and conversations really showed us how powerful these visits can be. Sometimes a simple moment with an animal can bring so much joy and create memories that last well beyond the visit. 💕

A huge thank you to the whole team at Richmond Villages Northampton for making us feel so welcome. We loved every minute and are already looking forward to coming back! 🐴❤️

Mungo’s first time at Gorcott Hall and obviously, he arrived with the Prosecco. 🥂🐴

Last Saturday, Mungo joined Francesca & Louis for their wedding at Gorcott Hall, taking on one of his favourite jobs… delivering prosecco on his “Prosecco Pony” duties during the drinks reception.

He took his role very seriously… although there was apparently plenty of time for a little mirror admiration and a refreshing drink from the bird bath between deliveries. 😂

There’s something rather fabulous about a pony wandering around with baskets full of Prosecco, making sure the bubbles keep flowing in a cute and unique way.

Our first time at Gorcott Hall, and Mungo has already decided it’s a pretty good place to work. 🍾😍

Congratulations, Francesca & Louis - you both looked incredible and thank you for letting Mungo be part of your day! 🤍

I had visions of a beautifully elegant pony walking up the steps at Bourton Hall - like Mungo had created only moments before…🐴

So I thought I’d recreate that moment with Ruben.

Unfortunately, Ruben had a slightly different vision. 😂

He absolutely launched himself up the stairs and, in the process, sent me straight into the bush. 🌿🤣

Not quite the elegant wedding moment I had imagined… but definitely one I won’t forget!

Children’s birthday parties are a smaller part of what we do, but I do love a good opportunity to get creative!🐴🌸🌼

Last Saturday we travelled from Northamptonshire to Solihull for a little girl’s 4th birthday, with the ponies joining the party in the family’s back garden.

There was lots of grooming, painting, glitter and braiding, and the children also got to decorate their own horseshoes. The ponies were very patient and happily let everyone make a fuss of them!

It’s a little different to our usual visits, but it was lovely to be part of her special day and see how much fun everyone had.

Mungo decided that after a busy afternoon of making new friends, he’d earned an ice cream… 🍦😂 (Don’t worry, he didn’t get any!)

Last Saturday we had the absolute pleasure of taking both Mongo clearly decided that after a busy afternoon of making new friends, he’d earned an ice cream… 🍦😂 (Don’t worry—he didn’t get any!)

Last Saturday we had the absolute pleasure of taking both of our ponies along to the summer fete at Timken Grange Care Home.

It’s amazing how a gentle nuzzle, a soft nose and a little bit of pony mischief can brighten an afternoon for everyone involved.

We really enjoyed dancing with the ponies and residents to some super country music!

A huge thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome. We had a wonderful time and hope the residents enjoyed meeting our four-legged team just as much as we enjoyed meeting them. ❤️🐴grange ❤️

A really fabulous afternoon was had by all!

Last Monday evening we had the pleasure of attending a very special joint birthday party in Birmingham, celebrating two gorgeous children turning 1 and 2! 🎉🎂

We took both of our ponies along, and after carefully leading them through the house to the back garden, the birthday fun began! 🐴🏡

The garden was full of excitement with lots of balloons, a bouncy castle, a face painter and a talented balloon modeller creating a wonderful party atmosphere. Our ponies are well used to busy events like this and took everything in their stride, remaining their calm, gentle selves throughout. ❤️

The children absolutely loved grooming them, giving them lots of cuddles, and getting creative with our pony-safe paints and glitter! ✨ Using fun stencils, they decorated the ponies with hearts, stars, monsters and even created their own colourful “pony tattoos.”

Don’t worry – every product we use is 100% safe for the ponies and completely washable. Sadly, the magical unicorn look doesn’t last forever… but the smiles and memories certainly do! 🦄💖

There’s nothing better than seeing children having hands-on fun, using their imagination, and making unforgettable memories with our gentle ponies.

Last week we had the absolute pleasure of visiting the wonderful residents and team at Richmond Bede Village, Bupa Care Home in Bedworth.

After our visit, they sent us this incredibly kind message:
