A little note about the hot weather ☀️
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE BELOW IF YOU HAVE A SUMMER STACK BOOKED IN WITH ME 💛
With the temperatures getting higher, I just wanted to share a few things about how heat can affect balloons and the best way to care for them once collected 😊
🎈 Foil balloons (numbers, characters etc.)
In warmer weather, I have to slightly under inflate foil balloons. Heat causes the air inside to expand, which can make balloons pop if they are fully inflated. This helps make sure they travel home safely with you!
🎈 Latex balloons (bases, mini balloons etc.)
Latex balloons can oxidise in the heat, which gives them a more matte or cloudy appearance. Unfortunately this is completely normal and can’t be avoided, but it can be slowed down by keeping balloons cool and out of direct sunlight.
☀️ Please also note that balloon colours can fade or slightly change when left in direct sunlight or extreme heat.
When collecting your balloons, please follow these tips:
☀️ Have your air conditioning on before arriving so the car is cool enough for transport.
☀️ Please do not leave balloons unattended in the car, even for a short amount of time, as cars can heat up very quickly and cause balloons to pop.
☀️ Once home, take balloons straight inside into a cool, shaded room.
☀️ Keep curtains/blinds closed where possible to help keep the room cool.
☀️ Please make sure your boot and back seats are completely clear before collection, with seats laid down if needed. Avoid any sharp or hot objects near the balloons, including metal seatbelt clips.
Once balloons have been collected, I cannot be responsible for any damage caused by heat, transport or storage conditions and refunds/replacements will not be given for heat related damage.
Thank you all so much for understanding and helping keep your balloons looking their best 💛
