Happy Easter x

I’ve been collecting daffodils from the garden, either snapped in the wind (thank you Dave) or trodden by the dogs (mostly trodden - scroll for the culprits) and paired them with some scented hyacinths and some heritage tulips.

Browns and whites 🤍🤎

(with a pop of dark burgundy)

All over this colour combo… how stunning would it look for a British Blooms wedding?

2025
I thought I’d had a relatively quiet year but looking back, a slower pace still brought lots of joyous moments. Thanks to everyone who shared them with me.

1, 2, 3 - easy to look at what didn’t grow, but actually I managed LOADS this year and loved having buckets of my own. That’s the goal to be fully self sufficient!

4 - can’t believe I actually got my hands on a and cannot wait to be in it over 2026.

5 - I love a workshop! And was an absolute treat with Charlotte

6 - freelancing for some really special florists who I now call friends.

7 - trying so hard to encourage extra pollinators, the wildflower “meadow” was the most magical of starts

8 - managed to squeeze in some of my own weddings, met gorgeous brides and excited for more 2026 weddings.

9 - photography course, Gemma is a wonderful human and it really ignited my passion for photography again.

10 - managed to attend not one but two of lovely workshops! And plan to attend many, many more

11 - finishing on a high with only British flowers over Christmas and beautiful finishing touches with ribbons from Cheryl

*some of these were videos but I got so flipping sick of it I gave up 🤣

LAST PUSH!

Last week to Christmas, no I’m not organised, no I’m not wrapped or fully bought up. Will I allow some time to soak up the festivities and try and embrace some peace, absolutely.

Nearly there everyone.

I feel very proud of my wreath collection this year - 100% British using a combination of fresh and dried foliage and flowers and beautiful hand dyed ribbons from another Yorkshire business that I love. And most of my orders have been from repeat customers - thank you so much.

All tucked up for the winter and all the brave outdoor seedlings are in the ground, just a few more to sow to keep cosy in the greenhouse. Most of these are spoken for🤞and will be part of some beautiful weddings next year. Some are trials, some are just fun flowers that I’m hoping grow and flourish.

Crazy Christmas talk but, I am only making a limited amount of wreaths this year and am mainly booked up (which is so SO lovely, thank you).

I have space for a couple more, DM to reserve ✨

Free collection from Low Bentham but if you are needing delivery, let me know and we can work something out!

I’ve had some successes and some oops moments in the garden this year. But one of my real winners has been daucus carota wild carrot) and it just keeps coming! I’m going to try and overwinter it, take my chances and see what happens.

Trialing a completely different colour combo for me, I actually really love it!
