Very excited to be holding a floral pop up shop at The Stars building in Bishops Castle, with the best of people . They’ll be lots of fresh flowers & farm produce, dried flowers, glass vases & amazing paper flowers. They’ll also be a series of workshops so you can get creative with natural materials.
We’ll be sharing lots more over the next couple of weeks, but put the date in the diary and come and see us!

A small selection of the bunches and bouquets that have headed out recently, full of spring loveliness. Now that the polytunnels are up again we can really focus on the growing - and have lots of late spring and early summer flowers coming through. Gift bouquets and bunches are now available through the website!

It’s not been the January I’d hoped for, and it’s taken a few weeks to come to terms with the damage that storm Goretti caused to the farm. We were not alone - due to so many growers losing their tunnels we are unsure when we will be able to get the replacement parts we need, but it given us the time to really assess how we want to rebuild. This gives us the opportunity to put in the infrastructure that we need now, and for the future, rather than making do with what we took over when we moved here.
We’ll be able to put in more water capture to deal with climate change, put more supports in the polytunnels to guard against future storms and are taking the time to decide on the best, most sustainable way forward for the business. They’ll be some changes coming, but we think they’ll be positive ones.
With Imbolc here this weekend, we’re looking forward to Spring!

Possibly my favourite bouquet of the week, full of juicy tulips, ranunculus, butterfly ranunculus, cerinthe and rose foliage. This will be the last week of the tulips, they seem to have gone so fast this year! But the cutting beds are filling up with lots of lovely late Spring flowers.

We’re excited to be able to offer more growing workshops now that we have the infrastructure to do so. The first in our sow & grow series is on plant propagation - come and learn different methods for seed sowing, taking cuttings and plant division. The focus will be on cut flowers, but the methods are also applicable for veg growing and general gardening.
You’ll also be taking home a good quality reusable seed tray, filled with 77 seeds for you to grow on a home. All this plus a detailed information hand out. We have accommodation close by for anyone travelling from afar, or who would like to make a short break.

We’ve got more workshops planned in the sow & grow series, including seed saving, planning a cut flower patch and biennials. We’d love to hear if there’s any others you’d like to see?
