Last night’s dinner was something really special 🌿✨
I had the absolute pleasure of cooking a Persian feast for eight guests at the most stunning holiday home at Watergate Bay. That kitchen — oh, that kitchen. Flooded with beautiful light, generous space, and the kind of energy that just makes you want to cook your best. I honestly cannot wait to go back.
And the guests? They got lucky with the evening. The doors were thrown open, the warm air rolled in, and dinner became a fully alfresco experience with the bay in the background. Persian food was made for moments like that.
On the menu last night 🍋🔥
Golden seared scallops with zesty herb butter & crispy shallots
Smoky saffron chicken skewers straight off the charcoal
Lamb chops marinated in pomegranate & rose water with fresh mint sauce
Shirazi salad — tomatoes, cucumber & mountains of fresh herbs
Lemon labneh with cucumber, nigella seeds & herb oil
Warm flatbreads baked to order
