🤝 From Listening to Action!

Over the past few months, more than 100 community members have taken part in our Community Listening Sessions and Community Engagement Session, coming together with public service representatives to build trust, strengthen community safety and foster greater understanding.
From discussions on Newport's emerging Hate Crime Policy to cross-cultural safeguarding, one message stood out:
Building trust is a shared responsibility.
A huge thank you to the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Gwent, Communities and Cohesion team Newport City Council, Y plant Africanaidd, our incredible facilitators, partners and every community member who lent their voice to this journey.
This isn't the end, it's just the beginning.

Following our previous Community Listening Sessions, Dúdú Heritage CIC is moving from listening to action. We are bringing community members and public services together for an open, constructive dialogue on key issues like safety, trust and support services.

What to expect:
✅Updates on what we heard from you during the listening sessions.
✅Meet and connect with public service representatives.
✅Work together on practical solutions to build trust and improve community engagement.
✅Share your experiences and get your questions answered.
