For all my clients that have taken advantage of my subsidised recording days or taster days, I am now offering a video to accompany your song for the subsidised rate of £75.
The subsidised recording days are £100 for a 10am-6pm working day.
These are intensive days that allows you the experience of working with a producer and having access to a vast sound library and professional recording. You will understand how much work goes into recording a commercially sounding record that will stand up against other commercial recordings that have record company backing.
My client Arron Kirwan in the video spent three days at the studio at a cost of £100 per day, taking advantage of Elliot Bennetts subsidised session fee for £80 for the drums (only accessible through this scheme), a kind gift of bass session from bassist Gary Smart and I donated a slide guitar solo and Hammond keyboard session.
Arron then decided to have the video shot for the subsidised rate of £75.
Arrons total out lay was £455. for the complete package. His single "The Devil In Black" is available on all streaming platforms and the video allows him to promote himself for work and promoting the single.
Of course all this is helped by the fact that Arron is a brilliant writer/performer and has an amazing voice.
The Video
Just as much work goes into recording a video, with the artist being shot multiple times from multiple angles. Being able to keep the energy up, leaving your self conciseness, ego and embarrassment outside the studio door and laying yourself bare in front of the camera is a prerequisite. You must give yourself up to the process.
As we are in a DIY industry with over 40,000 songs being uploaded each day you have to find every advantage possible to set yourself apart from the wash of average songs and recordings that are out there today.
I have dedicated my life to my obsession of the recorded work. Being able to leave a legacy of your music to your future family is a true gift.
Taster day £100. from 10am-6pm.
