THURS
Come hungry. With 10 kitchens to choose from, lunch, dinner and everything in between is very well handled.

RHYTHM TONIC (FRI)
Laine joins Socialness B2B Lookwhatifound for a Friday soundtrack made to carry you into the weekend.

DRINK. DANCE. DISCO. (SAT)

SUNDAZE (SUN)
Adzmandala and Dan Hart ease things down with slow, low sounds to round off the week.

Before they Played Out, we caught up with Charlie Floyd and Pearly Gates

They talk about stepping into a venue like Freight Island, reaching new crowds, trying something a little different live and what it means to be part of Newcastle’s music scene right now.

And with the Mercury Prize spotlight landing on Newcastle, we had to ask who they'd like to see win!

Smashed, stacked and absolutely filthy.

Meat:Stack is serving juicy patties, filthy fries and fixings piled high, all done fast-food style.

Newcastle knows a good burger when it sees one and they're up on the Island.

Crunch first. Spice second. Restraint? Nowhere to be seen.

K-Bird is serving golden Korean fried chicken loaded with bold, smoky sauces.

Come hungry. Order accordingly.

Ghosts Of Garage came north. Newcastle made them feel at home.

Ghosts of Garage brought Zed Bias AKA Maddslinky, Macca, Emily Jacko, Rich Reason, Larishka and Chunky to the Island for their first Newcastle party, and The Plant Room moved from 5pm to 1am.

Manchester’s sell-out energy met the Geordie welcome we promised.

Thanks to everyone who came early, stayed late and made the first one count.
