Wrestling With Pride uses professional wrestling to celebrate LGBTQ+ identity and build safer, more inclusive spaces across the North East. We’re currently registering as a non-profit association and are looking for a Trustee Treasurer to join our board.

We believe that using Wrestling to represent not only the LGBTQIA+ community but the wider community also is such a powerful way of connecting people. Allowing a safe space for all to build relationships, educate other, break down barriers and create a sold community.

Wrestling with Pride is committed to becoming more active on social issues and will be launching some projects next year to amplify our message.

We are extremely excited to announce that we will be featured on PRIDE Radio to tell everyone about our Wrestling with Pride community. We join many others in celebrating 40 years of the Metrocentre

We are delighted to announce the next 10 recipients of FREE radio advertising on Pride Radio as part of our Top 40 Community Voices promotion, delivered in partnership with Metrocentre, as we celebrate Metrocentre's 40th year of supporting communities across the North East.

This initiative is designed to give local community groups, charities, social enterprises and not-for-profit organisations a powerful platform to share their message with audiences across the region.

Congratulations to our latest recipients: Wrestling with Pride, Sunderland LGBT+ Network, Northern Pulse, Newcastle Ravens RFC, Youth Voices Count, Inc., Ouseburn Farm Charity Ltd, Newcastle Dog & Cat Shelter, Billy's Lifeline, Anxious Minds and The Twisting Ducks Theatre Company

We can't wait to help amplify your voices and celebrate the incredible work you're doing in our communities.

With 20 more organisations still to be announced over the coming months, there are plenty more inspiring community stories to celebrate as part of this special anniversary campaign. Stay tuned to see who will be joining our Top 40 Community Voices.

As Pride month begins in all its colour and pizazz we at wrestling with pride we want to pay tribute to those businesses, organisations and charities that work tirelessly all year round to celebrate our history and support those in our community.

We show our respect to those who don’t just rainbow things up for the £££.

Wrestling with Pride is more than a wrestling promotion, it’s a place of belonging, a home to those who feel they just don’t fit anywhere and it’s a leaf pad to finding friends, purpose and most importantly it’s an empowering place.

Happy Pride Month

So if you didn’t see what happened at PrideMania, this is where it all broke down and lines were crossed.

Following a double count out and Craig Berry crossing the line with Niko, Referees and our Director.

We will see a rematch between these two in December at Camp as Christmas in a no holds barred match.

We caught up with Niko after informing him of the planned match oh and so did Craig Berry.
