Dainty Bee Design Hi, I’m Karen, a graphic designer based in Newcastle and the creative behind Dainty Bee Design. Recently, I have rekindled my love of photography.

Greeting Cards My background is in print: project management, pre-press and artwork design, where I have worked with some of the UK’s largest clients across both large and small format print. Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors, whether that’s wandering along the North East’s stunning beaches, exploring the countryside with my family or finding a little calm on my yoga mat. Yoga, for me, is a mix of flexibility and precision, a reminder of balance and compassion and that same approach flows into my work. I also have a passion for creating vibrant, nutritious, plant-packed meals, which gives me another outlet to blend creativity with wellbeing. I feel design and photography go hand in hand, and I am lucky to be able to assist with photography at some wonderful local schools and nurseries. It’s been an exciting new avenue that brings fresh inspiration into my creative journey, sitting perfectly alongside my work with Dainty Bee Design. Planning your wedding? When your lass says "Eee, Whey Aye!" 😍

I am a HUGE fan of living and breathing the North East, and who doesn't love a Geordie!? Howay man, we're just mint!!

It's been bubbling away to create something special for my fellow North Easterners who also hold our regional accent close to their heart.

Combining an elegant golden leafy design on a soft hammered luxury card, these Save the Date Invitations are one little jigsaw piece to the whole set of Geordie Wedding Stationery.

The Table Names are a favourite of mine - with words like 'Doylem', 'Gadgie' and 'Clarts' - who wouldn't want to sit at the 'Scran' table?

Tek a deek at my website, have a nebby aroond and divven't gan too radgie like! It's aal cushty pet! 😘🤪

Your Passport and Boarding Card await! ✈

I recently got an enquiry for a 'Passport Wedding Invitation & Boarding Card'. Something I hadn't done before - but knew I could easily design. After all, that's what I do. Design stuff like this.

Alas, the job didn't 'take off' but it ignited a little "Well of course I can do that, and I'll add it to my pre-made designs on my website".

So here you have it.
Your wedding abroad shall start in style! 💓

Available in various colours, various papers and with a choice of envelopes.

Imagine shimmering pearlescent paper and matching envelopes.... What's not to love? 😘 Style it your own way, change it up a bit, add your own details.

Take a look at my website to see more!!
