A gorgeous morning of Autumn Wreath making this morning. What a fun group we had too and everyone left with a truly beautiful and individual wreath 🍂🍁✨

🍁 Autumn Wreath Making 🍂

Our Autumn Wreath Making Workshop takes place in just 10 days on Sunday 20th September at 10.00am at Bloom HQ in Blackbrook, Staffordshire (ST5 5EH).

I absolutely love this workshop where we celebrate the best florals and foliages of the season to decorate your door. We’ll also have seasonal drinks and cake to enjoy and a nice warm fire should the weather turn a bit cooler.

The nights are drawing in and as we come to the end of wedding season our minds turn towards one of our busiest seasons - Christmas!

This year I have a range of Christmas wreath making and home decoration workshops and all of these are now available to book via the website. They’ve actually been live since January so quite a few spaces have already been booked up but there’s still plenty available as workshops run on Saturdays and Sundays from the middle of November through to Christmas week. All workshops are held at Bloom HQ, in Blackbrook, Staffordshire (ST5 5EH).

As we’ve been doing for a number of years now, we’ll provide you with all the materials and tuition you need to make a gorgeous wreath. We pride ourselves on using the best foliages available and we take you through the whole wreath making experience allowing you to make the most individual and luxurious wreath possible. We also provide a nice warm environment with a log fire, mulled w**e, non-alcoholic alternatives and Christmas cakes and snacks. I’ll also have a range of Christmas gifts available for you to buy should you wish.

If you want to experience proper wreath making in a great supportive environment then this is the workshop for you. We look forward to seeing new and old faces and should you have any questions about our sessions please do get in touch.

Private workshops are also available should you have a group of friends or colleagues that would like to come during the week or at another time that’s not available.

Held at the gorgeous Bloom Flower Studio situated here on the flower farm in Blackbrook, our workshops are relaxed, fun and informative - the perfect activity or gift for friends and family, great for a corporate events or just a great experience for anyone looking to learn a new skill.

With help on hand throughout and an in depth demonstration at the start of the session we will ensure that whatever your ability, you will leave with a beautiful decoration to hang on your front door. We supply all of the materials you require to make a gorgeous wreath but if you have particular decorations or pieces you want to include in your design you can bring them along and we can try to incorporate these too. We want your wreath to be a reflection of you and your taste. We only use British foliage in our designs and where possible these are sourced locally or grown on the farm. We also source the moss we use to create your wreath base from sustainable sources to reduce our impact on nature.

Pinch, punch, first of the month …

It was so lovely to decorate a local village church today with some truly beautiful florals and deliver this beautiful bouquet to today’s bride.

For this bouquet the brief I was given was to create a small, compact, posy style bouquet in pink & white with a little blue accent in keeping with rest of the flowers. I chose the most gorgeous scented garden roses, scented stocks, spray roses, Tweedia, and a few other supporting blooms. Scent is often overlooked nowadays but I feel it really elevates a bridal bouquet.

Nettie’s gorgeous bouquet from last Saturday. I love the pastel tones in this one and the request for cornflower blue to be added to the ribbons.

This bouquet was full of scent, movement and meaning and it sounds like the birds around the studio appreciated its beauty! 💐🥂✨

Congratulations to Georgia & Charlie who tied the knot on Friday at Sandon Hall Wedding Venue 🥂✨

Pastels were the order of the day and we created some glorious florals to dress the church and hall, including two statement oversized urns which I’m in love with. Surprisingly all of the flowers held up well in the blazing heat and everything came together perfectly. The preview images speak for themselves!
