It starts with an empty table…

Then comes the planning, the mood board, the shopping, the creating, the early start and finally… the styling.

With every layer, every flower and every carefully placed detail, an empty space slowly becomes a place where memories are made.

This ‘Sea You Soon’ baby shower was all about soft coastal tones, elegant styling and creating a relaxed, beautiful setting for family and friends to celebrate together.

Watching a vision come to life never gets old, and it’s moments like these that remind me why I love event styling so much.

Every celebration begins with a feeling.

For this baby shower, the vision was inspired by the coast with the running theme of Sea You Soon… soft powder blues, crisp whites, natural textures and timeless details that create a calm, elegant setting to welcome a very special little arrival.

Before the styling begins, before a single table is dressed or a flower is placed, this is where every event starts… with a mood board, a vision and a story waiting to be told.

As an event stylist, this is one of my favourite parts of the process. Bringing together colours, textures and décor ideas, then watching them evolve into a beautifully styled celebration is exactly why I love what I do.

Every beautiful event starts with an idea… 🤍

One of my favourite parts of the process is taking all of your inspiration, ideas and Pinterest saves and turning them into a personalised moodboard before we even meet.

It gives us a clear vision, helps us choose the right florals and styling, and means we’re both working towards bringing the same dream to life. 🌿

Here’s a little shop with me as I picked up fresh flowers for a July wedding, followed by the moodboard that started it all.
