‘Why do you charge extra for tummy ruches?’
Our tummy ruches are popular for our fishtail, jumpsuit & column hemlines. We call them ‘security blankets for the tummy!’

If you’re at an event, eating & drinking all day, it’s natural that our tummies may bloat! Our thicker stretch scuba linings help smooth, support & sculpt the body but our tummy ruches also give that additional support to flatter this area

The pattern cutting process is tricky to make sure the pleats are angled, positioned to perfection & flattering. We then attach the side seams to the scuba lining so they stay in place & you don’t have to constantly reposition them.

This takes skill & lots of time! That’s why we charge £45 additional for tummy ruching across our styles

Visit our Barrowford Showroom, meet our Owner & Founder Carrie who will welcome you/your group to our newly refurbished Georgian style showroom with over 200 samples in 50+ colours/fabrics to try on in your allotted time.

Carrie will introduce herself, offer refreshments (time permitting), tell you what to expect, talk through your design ideas, making sketches and notes if necessary, showing styles that match your requests, take photos for you/your group for your future reference if you like, give fabric samples (or make notes to send at a later date) and take any initial measurements should you wish.

Carrie is on hand to give expert advice on body shapes, suitable styles to enhance and support the body, colour matching for all skin types, appropriate styles for younger bridesmaids/prom and sketch any new custom designs should you wish.

Choose from 45-90 minute appointments for a truly special 1-2-1 showroom experience like no other ✨
