So today a visited my loved ones gravesides to take flowers ready for palm Sunday tomorrow, something I do every birthday, Xmas, special occasion, anniversary etc. BUT today I was saddened to see so many graves with no flowers, dead flowers or faded artificial flowers.
Whilst I was arranging my gran and gramps flowers I started thinking why this was the case? It came to me that these people are NOT unloved or forgotten about,
But simply not everyone can get to the cemetery to take flowers and clean up the headstones etc. This could be down to time, mobility, ill health, holidays or even family that have moved away.
So to cut a long story short if any one of my friends knows somebody, a family member or neighbour etc who is in this situation please can you contact me as I am going to be offering a community service allowing these people to have peace of mind that this is taken care of 😊
I will be happy to clean and tidy the headstone and graveside, arrange flowers, remove old flowers and provide the family member with a photo of the grave afterwards 🌹♥️
I am not doing this with the intent to make profit, flowers cost would need to be covered and a small fuel charge.
This is something I enjoy to do and if I can help others it's a bonus ❤️
