A nature-inspired celebration, a golden hour sunset, and a marquee wedding!

Alice was absolute perfection as she got ready in the historic Clubroom at Altyre Estate, surrounded by her bridesmaids wearing an array of uniquely styled, colorful dresses—a gorgeous reflection of both Alice and Will’s deep love of nature and the outdoors.

With the majority of their loved ones travelling up from England and Ireland, the Scottish Highlands put on an unforgettable show. From their romantic outdoor ceremony deep under the canopy of the Altyre forest to a glowing sunset across the estate grounds, every detail was pure magic.

And with Will, his father, and his mother all working in broadcast—including his father, veteran BBC News correspondent Robert Hall—we even collaborated with Robert to bring a very special, one-take "live news report" of the day’s events into the film!

A Highland Farm Wedding | Rachel & Greg Teaser Film

An outdoor ceremony with guests seated on bales of hay, a portrait session with a classic car, and a celebration that filled a beautiful marquee into the night. Rachel and Greg’s wedding at Findon Farm was a spectacular showcase of a relaxed, authentic Highland wedding.

The groom's pride and joy—his classic car—took center stage as photographer Andy Taylor captured portraits across the private grounds and outwith the family farm. From the heartfelt speeches to the high-energy dancing, it was an absolute joy for us at Thistle Production to capture this teaser film.

A glorious summer’s day in Caithness for Beth and Jack’s wedding at the stunning Stemster House.

From a sun-drenched outdoor ceremony in the grounds to a high-energy marquee reception, this was a Highland wedding to remember. There was even a legendary nod to Still Game to keep the "gallus" spirit alive.

A very special guest of honour was Juno, the couple's beloved dog, who was a main feature of the day and stole everyone's hearts during the ceremony.

The ceremony, beautifully officiated by Humanist Celebrant Lindsay Morrison, was filled with emotion and laughter. From the stirring sounds of Pipers Glenn and Morven Miller echoing across the estate to the portrait session with Tracey Inkson Photography, every part of Beth and Jack's day went with ease. It was an absolute joy for us at Thistle Production to capture these memories in the far north of Scotland.

Annabel & Christopher – Isle of Skye

A wedding day filled with genuine emotion, steady laughter, and that understated kind of romance Skye does so well.
Annabel & Christopher were married at Kilmuir Church, surrounded by family, friends, and the calm beauty of home.

They took time to explore a few favourite spots around Kilmuir with the brilliant Rosie Woodhouse, capturing natural, easy moments together.

Then it was on to Skeabost House Hotel for a relaxed celebration, more stunning photos and even more laughter!

With Skye-based hair and makeup, Rosie the photographer, and us filming their incredible day, it was a full team of local suppliers telling their story.
