It's been nearly two months since I last wrote here.

I've had a crazy few months personally and I've needed my time and my concentration elsewhere.

I've taken some time out to decide where I want my career ti go and what I want ti concentrate on.

I have an amazing career as a children's entertainer/magician and clown and I don't want to walk away from it........

But I am no longer in the position for it to be my main career anymore.

I have osteoarthritis in both my knees and I believe also my lower back. This means I am no longer able to do all the jumping about and physical activities I used to be able to do.

I have found this realisation very tough to come to terms with with but I know I must accept it, so that I can move forward.

I recently took some time out. To have some time away. I spent this time considering my future, where I want to be and what I want to do now.

It's time to accept things are going to be very different going forward but I'm coming to term with that and I know it's going okay.

But I need to give myself a little bit of time to adjust to this new future. It's going to be hard to accept I can no longer do the things I have done for years.

This weekend Ve and I traveled up to Gloucestershire where Ve and I were entertaining at an 11th birthday party.

Ve decorating everyone with her birthday face painting (some seriously gorgeous lil works of art) and I was entertaining with a Circus Skills Workshop, a Mini Magic Show and a Mini Magic Workshop.

The party set up was a little different to the normal

Magic

As the children were mainly neurodivergent and so we needed to work in a way that suited them.

This included food being eaten at different times that suited the children, moving quickly between the different entertainment and changing how we performed some of the tricks.

There was about 25 children of different ages and abilities and yet everyone had a great time. All the parents stayed too and joined in the fun including some having their faces painted too.

We have even secured two more shows, one is going to be a brand new form of entertainment for us, so we are very excited about that.

Exciting times ahead.

Events are becoming to come in for "The Crafty Bizzie-Bees"

We will be here in April 5th with out painting and craft stall.

We were down to attend this event last year but unfortunately there was a ceiling collapse in our shed and a lot of our stock etc was ruined. This year we have new, saver storage so fingers crossed all will be ok.

Looking forward to getting out into the world and meeting new people and helping children to enjoy painting and creating.

I have created these Xmas Creative Boxes for those who need something to do for children of all ages, as the days are getting colder and we’re all indoors more.🎨🖌️⛄️

Each box will be slightly different made up from the stock that I use for my Magic Bee Crafting table🐝 and for the items I sell at The Mystical Cove.

🎩🪄HELP NEEDED. COULD YOU HELP THIS MAGICIAN FIND HER MAGIC AGAIN????🪄🎩🐝

September last year Iast year I drove to Gloss to my family to entertain at a birthday party.

There were three reasons for this;

💛 I hadn't seen this side of the family since COVID.
🖤They had been let down their entertainer and needed a last minute replacement.
💛 I wanted to know if I still loved doing what I did best.

Well it was a fantastic day. I loved seeing my family, the entertainment went really well, everyone loved it and the birthday girl had "the best time ever" her words.

And............ I realised I still absolutely loved being an entertainer and I really wanted to continue doing this. 🪄✨🎩🐝

I was ready to re- launch my business under its new brand, with some fun new entertainment then everything went a little bit pear shaped. 🍐

Anyway I'm now ready to start the process again and I'm as excited as I was back in September..........in fact the truth is I'm probably more excited because I absolutely know it's finally the right time to come back.🎉

It's been a slow departure from the world of entertainment, since 2017 when I lost my dad.

Over the last 7 years I've made roads back in, but it just never seemed to be the right time/situation.🕰️

And I can't wait to start rebuilding my new business.

And this is where I need your help.

All my promotional photos are over 7 years old and are no longer in brand and they don't show the entertainment I'm now offering. 🪄🎨🤹‍♀️🫧

I have 5 new shows that need to be photographed.

So I'm looking for 5 children's events between now and March/April, where I can entertain and capture some photos.

So if you have or know off a children's event that needs entertainment please let me know.

💛Suitable Ages = 2-8 years
🖤Area = I don't mind travelling as long as it within 3 hours of my home.
💛Venue = Home or hall
🖤Time = 1 to 2 hours
💛Cost to you = Absolutely nothing.
