PURE ANGELIKO is a Malaysia-born DJ and co-founder of Higher Frequency North East, bringing a raw, high-energy approach to the UK underground.
Starting out as a bedroom vinyl DJ before cutting her teeth in the free party scene, she has developed a sound rooted in harder styles, while staying focused on pushing fresh and forward-thinking music.
A key figure in Boro’s underground community, PURE ANGELIKO has supported artists including The Muffinman, Jazzy, Jason Cluff and Black Traffic, alongside a release on international label Technowered. Her 2025 Boomtown Fair debut marked another milestone, following appearances at Pitch Festival, Technopia, Blitz NCL and Second Speed, as well as self-curated events at Empire, Middlesbrough.
With a growing reputation for energetic sets and a passion for championing local talent, PURE ANGELIKO continues to carve out her own space within the UK underground scene
