On Saturday, we had the absolute honour of not only being chosen to style a wedding, but to then spend the rest of the day celebrating as guests with two people who are genuinely very special to us 🤍
Kim & Glynn of K.H photography & Exclusive Suppliers and I Do Magazine tied the knot at Swancar Farm Country House and it really was the most perfect day from start to finish.
We’d obviously been there doing what we do best, with a 6am start, making sure everything was set up and ready for them. Then, after finishing the styling, we had a whopping 15 minutes to shower, get changed and go from suppliers to wedding guests before joining the celebrations!
We attend a lot of weddings, and whilst we’re incredibly lucky to work alongside so many wonderful couples and suppliers, it’s actually very rare that we get to attend one as guests ourselves. So to be able to do that for Kim & Glynn made it all the more meaningful.
Because they’re not just fellow suppliers, and this wasn’t just another wedding for us to style. They’re our friends. And over the last couple of years, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of being part of so much of the journey to this day - from running through wedding plans with them both, being there for Kim’s hen weekend and dress fitting, helping her choose details of her customised dress, and being the person on the other end of the phone when the inevitable little bridal stresses came along.
So to then be there on the actual day, knowing how much thought, excitement, emotion and anticipation had gone into getting to that moment, felt pretty bloody special.
Being trusted with such an important part of their day was an honour in itself. Being invited to stay, get dressed up, sit amongst their friends and family and actually enjoy the whole day alongside them is something we’re incredibly grateful for.
Kim & Glynn, we love you both. You’re absolutely made for each other, and we feel so bloody lucky to have been part of it all 🤍
