We've been off on our campervan travels,exploring the wilder and often more remote areas of our British, beautiful northern countryside. Starting at the western lakes, we travelled further north, taking ferries of Mull and the very spiritual and beautiful island of Iona. We were hit with all weathers and have seen so many fabulous rainbows, end to end. Sadly very high winds prevented us from getting over to explore the Uists on the outer hebredes, but we have so much enjoyed watching the wildlife - sea otters playing on the shoreline, white tailed eagles, huge stags and deer and numerous seals basking in the sun on Holy island in Northumberland. We've loved the fresh seafood and the warmth and hospitality of the lovely northern folk😁. So I'd say we've had more of an adventure than your typical holiday😅, complete at times, with a very wet and smelly jack russell and many bad hair days😂 xx
