Sometimes it's worth taking a moment, looking around you and seeing what you've achieved.
It's a whole year since we opened our studio space, and this early morning shot really brought it home to me how far we've come and what a real asset this little studio has been.
It's not only given me a space to welcome brides/nearlyweds for their trials, or a place to serve afternoon teas with a sea view, a place to celebrate special moments, or a space for local businesses to share their wares with the community — it's been a space where I've been able to express who my inner me really is, in bright pink paint, flower walls, mid-century furniture, 50s diner booths, dramatic red theatre curtains and pin-up art… lucky my inner aesthetic blends perfectly with the Le Keux brand!! 😂
It's a space that brings me joy, calm, and a sense of safety — something I want others to feel too. As a workaholic perfectionist, I'm reminded by those closest to me to take stock, reflect and feel proud of what we've achieved, not just in the last year but in the two and a half years since starting Le Keux Kent. This shot makes me do just that.
Thank you to everyone who's got us here, and here's to the next 12 months! I'm both nervous and excited to see where we'll be then.
